It recently occurred to me that as I update my website with new product and older designs get replaced, all of my lovely designs just disappear into the internet wilderness. So I've decided to create blog post of each collection, so I have a record of them as the website changes with each season. With that in mind, here are my original TOTO & FIFI designs (from S/S 2017), they were the very first designs I created for this website and consisted of just four simple designs:   They were drawn by TOTO & FIFI, and hand-printed by me.

A need for gender-neutral clothing for children

Taken from a report I wrote about the need for gender-neutral clothes for children. To identify the need for gender-neutral prints for children's clothing, it would first be necessary for me to describe the shift in attitude towards gender-neutral clothing for children. The Bailey Review, Letting Children Be Children, was launched in 2011, the main area of concern was the sexualisation of children's clothing. "Collection's should enable children to be confident about their developing bodies and enjoy play and physical activity whilst maintaining modesty...sexualised and gender-stereotyped clothing, products and services for children are the biggest areas of concern for parents"...
